Spike hasn't added a story.

Chained to his dog house for ten long years, Spike's life took a hopeful turn when our vigilant volunteer noticed the chain painfully embedded in his neck and immediately intervened.

While Spike has always been a gentle and loving soul, he's never known the joy of exploring the world beyond his 6-foot chain. Today, he got to experience that freedom. Following his rescue, Spike was promptly provided emergency medical care, and now he's on the road to recovery and discovery. 

Each day, the Victoria Humane Society reaches out to homeless animals in critical need of medical care, providing a lifeline through our committed Critical Care Fund. We assure life-saving treatment for those with the greatest need and a strong chance of recovery, ultimately helping them find caring forever homes.
