Yesterday, we received an urgent call from Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital about a brave mother dog who had been attacked. Found grievously wounded, a search later uncovered her 5 tiny puppies in the forest, though sadly, three didn't survive. Another dog involved in the altercation, from the same origin as the mother, had to be put down. The mother dog has sustained severe injuries, putting her leg at risk. However, the devoted team at Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital is battling to save her leg and have spent hours treating her wounds and caring for her surviving puppies. We're eagerly waiting for the day she can nurture her babies again.
